Itpro to be fair the guy asked a really sensible question, his mistake was to post it in the wrong forum. I don't believe that mistake should be met with that level of sarcasm.

Demongibbo 210 rears and 130 fronts tend to be very popular, you can buy alluminium ones such as the jet range which work perfectly well or go for a more expensive rim such as the douglas magnesium ones. Theres lots of people who say the magnesium wheels are better than the alluminium ones and lots of people who think it makes no difference.

Personally if i was beginning i would go for the cheaper alluminimum ones. Until your looking for the last tiny amount of performance and are on the pace I wouldn't bother spending money on expensive rims and even then there is no guarantee they will make a difference to you. I would spend the money on tyres as you will find far more from good rubber than a different rim material.
