I remember a post with a similar question about 2 months ago the concenses was around 75 to 78 but no higher what rpm was your boy reaching at the weekend that's a pretty good gauge if u were between 5.8 and 6.0 your on the money. If he is only just learning then u might find adding a few teeth will help
