The little GX160 is a low compression motor. Accordingly the lower octane rating the better (although there will be an optimum - but from a standard garage forecourt this means ordinary, unleaded fuel).

Stick to a well used facility so the fuel is hopefully fresh. I tend to steer clear of Supermarkets as there are some horror stories of imported fuel having to be reprocessed/refined due to poor quality!
