Hi Jason, Thomas pretty much summed it up. There are very few rules in F6 Senior Open, so if you want to service your own, fast engine and run on cheap 2nd hand tyres then it's perfect. I'm in a similar boat to Thomas, in that I'm preparing to compete for the start of the '13 season (although in a Swissauto). I thought about buying an Ecomoto last year but decided to stick with the luxury of an onboard starter ! Assuming you have an MSA legal kart then I think you only need to worry about reg 4.8.3 on page 12 about tyres (anything you want), reg 4.19 on page 15 about weight (75kg min driver weight) and reg 4.26 on page 19 about the engine
