Ahhhh.... I see.... so the pleasure of 'improving what you have' is ONLY applicable to a 4 stroke and there couldn't be ANY pleasure gained from improving the performance of a 2 stroke....

Don't be so blinkered, old son! The very, VERY best in karting spend their time improving the 2 stroke.....

That doesn't denigrate the 4 stoke as a concept: it's just a different, usually heavier (bar the Aixro), animal...

I suggest DRIVING a quick 2 stroke to get the point! 2 stokes are a VERY cheap way of getting serious... nay.. LUDICROUS performance! Especially the old air-cooled 100 national motors!
