Thank you for your reply Simon.

Raced the kart at the weekend and had no issues with the hubs. As you say, the wheels tend to slide inwards, but I was more concerned about the hub breaking due to lack of support. They were overlapping by 35mm.

We were racing in the oekc, therefore there would be people other than myself driving - hence my concern!
