I would second the oil quantity comments. There is a contradiction in those who say expensive oil makes little or no difference and then only run 3/4 or less of the recommended oil quantity. The recommended amount for this engine is 600ml and will take you to the top of the threads. i.e. almost falling out when level.

Until the driver can do 10 laps within 2 or 3 tenths then no point in doing anything else. In my experience Mobil 1 is the best compromise on cost v. performance and is actually best when Very Hot. 600ml of 0W30 changed every few hours will cost virtually nothing relatively speaking and guarantee no oil related problems.
Although as a metter of interest Honda will refuse guarantee claims on a standard engines if you run anything but mineral oil.
