all of my motors did 100 hours between rebuilds on cool power and when were stripped were all still like new inside with very little wear, rings were stuck on one motor but no hardship to unstick, they have made considerably more power on the dyno compared to new, my standard race motors have gained close to 1/2 hp from new and all perform very well on circuit, not sure if this is down to the oil and carbon build up or just general loosening up?
I switched over to gibbs start of this year but have now returned to cool power as I didnt feel I was gaining anything for the extra cost, now back on cool power I havnt noticed any drop in performance, if anything last few weeks Dan is going faster than he ever has, but at the same time I switched oils I also re fitted his big foot but that is a different debate lol !!!
