The second engine is a spare Welshy, just in case the other stops working!

There's no brakes - each pedal is connected to one engine, left for left hand engine, right for right hand engine. Soon as you overuse or stall the engine, engage the other pedal for your second engine! Some even use both at the same time, almost like a cheeky turbo! Scruts do their best to clamp down!
