We put a new cam in it on saturday and hopefully it will be ok. I managed to pick all the steel bits of cam out of the aluminium bore and 80% of the bore was OK. The cam lobe on the exhaust seemed to have lost some of its peak so I am thinking that we may have had a bad cam all along.
