Hi Andy,

Its not going to start with 30 Karts on the Grid , but 6 then 10 then 15, and a year or two to build it up, some drivers will not like all the rules and regs + the added costs, but its still the safest way to race,..

Wombwell,

Snr Hondas can race under a Tyro License, you just turn up with two passport type pics, pay Ł35.00 for the year and you get a Tyro/Club license , No medical needed, No arks test, and you get all the MSA packet as a full Nat B or Nat A.

It must have loads of drivers within 1 hr of the track and no one in Snr Hondas races at Wombwell, !!!!, if Drivers turn up for the Sat practice for the rest of the year, it will generate some interest I hope and we can talk about any possible problems getting the karts up to the 2012 MSA regs.

Aug and Sep I am racing or in the USA, so we should work on Oct meeting at Wombwell for a practice ., it its not stopping any one turning up before then.

Yes, helmets have to fit the rules, but you can get one quite cheap

Ł150 including VAT, but I am sure your find them even cheaper , even used good SA2005 helmets.

A have a look at the Regs next week and try and make it easy for drivers to look at and make a face book page , so drivers can see all the rules , info , ETC to try and get it started.

What next, the UK has loads of very good tracks that the Snr Honda class has faded away, when I 1st started we raced every weekend, and a bit silly all over the UK, but petrol was cheaper then.
