I built my Biland back up the other day and it seems to have developed a problem.

When you start it all seems fine it ticks over on both cylinders and sounds as it should.

When you open the throttle its coughs splutters and it goes down on the one cylinder.

Its produces a very strong spark to both cylinders on tick over.

I swapped the coils over and the problem did transfer to the other cylinder 'suggesting the coil'.

have any other biland owners had this problem with the coils as i have had them fail before but they have gone staright away were as this one seems to be intermittent/breaking down.

Rotor and stators look fine and were illiminated by swapping coils over.

Anyway its going to have a new set of plugs, caps and ht leads soon just as peace of mind.

Would be gratefull if any fellow biland owners have had a coil break down and be intermittent rather than fail instantly or found something else to be the issue.

Would like any ideas as the coils are bloody expensive !!
