This is a tough one.....

Personally, I don't think ANYBODY is 'nobody' but, perhaps in your case, I think I might make an exception and believe you....

However, I'll explain it to you as you clearly SHOULD be able to understand these simple things.

Once upon a time.... (see, I'm doing it gently for you)...., grown-up people thought that things would run very well if those INVOLVED in a society performed their OWN 'policing' without the need to have ACTUAL Policemen. Now, that society works VERY well when everybody is a grown-up BUT it does run into problems when there are too many 'children' around.

This site is like that..... Dick and Martin use a very light touch and let 'social policing' moderate the group.

Brian, myself, AlanRR, Newshound, Vic (as was), Banzai, Trakstar, QoT (and many others) all understand the system. If there's a problem, this collection of 'Grown-Ups' will make the point that someone has stepped out of line. That means we rarely NEED a moderator and that makes this site a place where grown-ups like to do what they can to HELP people.....

Now, there are plenty of OTHER sites with Moderators etc., but, those of us who are older than 12 find such places STIFLING..... it may be WONDERFUL for kiddies, like you, but it's the reason why we prefer THIS place..... designed for grown-ups! It menas that, WHEN you ask for advice, those of us with EXPERIENCE are here to answer the questions..... but that we are NOT at other, more child-friendly, sites.....

Now.... the concept is that ALL of us (including YOU) are treated as EQUALS..... if you don't like something, you are entitled and ENCOURAGED to make your comment without fear of being 'moderated' u(nless you state something ACTIONABLE). That gives us FABULOUS freedom....

So..... Brian doesn't need to be ANYTHING or ANYONE (special) to make a comment. All he needs is the ability to DEFEND his views when children come and whining.....

I really do understand that this is all a bit 'grown up' for you but, when you have had your first shandy and start shaving, it'll all make sense to you...... It does need an adult mind to be able to follow this stuff so we DO uinderstand why you find it confusing!
