Put simply:-

Until your lad/lass has done a fair number of races (after getting their full licence), the engine is not going to make a huge difference.

Once you are at the stage when you are looking at the front end of the grid for the finals, then you can consider upgrading the engine.

Please note, EXACTLY the same
statement would be accurate about Comer, TKM, Rotax, KF2 etc., etc.. It's part of racing. Until your lad/lass can 'drive', having 'the kit' won't help much!

So, start out with something standard and upgrade as you move through the grid.
