Cadets... We need a junior class that is viable. Quite frankly stuff the Cadets, Trev! They'll all just go off to Mini Max, Junior TKM, Junior Max, etc... Until there is a viable Junior Honda class!
We'll not get an influx of new blood until there is a junior class! It only becomes viable if it cost effective (as that's what prokarts should be) option when switching from Cadet to Junior, all the other junior classes will require an investment in a chassis and engine. It needs someone to make Honda's cool again, they grew initially because 2 strokes were costly and unreliable... Now we are in the a situation with SP motors that cost 4 figures, verses classes that to the uneducated appear cheaper as they are sealed and then they are faster and they tend to be quite reliable now. The initial outlay looks quite expensive
That has nothing to do with kart asthetics!
39 karts at Clay this weekend, the endurance prokarting is looking a lot more marketable with their bin lids!
