It has got a lot to do with air density and varying atmospheric pressures with the different jet delivering more or less fuel to compensate. Thankfully the affect is not as significant as in 2/ and you only really have to consider the 70 and 72 main jet. If you can notice the difference then it has been worth a change but if you do you better start naming your spanners!!
