i'll go further coz i've owned one of each-
biland-a thrill a second to drive. the sound and speed of the thing are excellent.
downside- if you're new to karts a biland is a complicated beast to own. costs a bit when things go wrong. not many places have grids. bargains to be had

swissauto-a wee bit faster still but doesn't sound as good. proving not to be as long lasting as the biland requiring rebuilds more often. expensive when it goes wrong:( again not many grids about the country. costly due to demand for second hand units

tkm4/-just got one seems a torquey wee unit. sounds good. rebuilds can be costly and again not many grids. bargains to be had

world formula-in my opinion a good wee unit. i've raced them for 4 years. slower than the above. not many grids but that seems to be slowly changing. currently very cheap to buy

pro-kart-a wee bit slower again than a world formula. as Brian said plenty of places to race them. very reliable wee engines. start up costs are high for decent kit
