Hi Brian,

The engines are untouched (apart from usual oil changes and tappet adjustments) since we got them new from RPM at the begining of last year. The valve is hardly bent, it only showed up when it was presented to the grinding stone and you could hear it was out of shape as it was ground. It would'nt seal even after grinding. When we removed the head for the first time the bolts cracked off like they were too tight. Should we be re tightening to 17 ft/lb or more? The new valves arrive monday so we will see if we can get them to seal.
