You're right, it's a massive can of worms! I wasn't planning to run a restrictor because I didn't think the existing Swissautos in the class did and the Ecomotos, although limited by their age and design, seem otherwise unrestricted (that's not meant to be offensive, just acknowledging that many modern 4 strokes are purpose built kart engines pushing out impressive power figures). I researched the restrictor today based on a few posts I've read on this site. I appreciate it's a difficult reg to enforce, and nobody wants to turn away new competitors from the class, but either everybody restricts or everybody has 'similar' power to a Biland. F6 Open seems to be, deserevedly, attracting a lot of interest and this matter will raise it's ugly head sooner or later if not addressed properly.
For the record, I plan to run a restrictor and if I get my ar5e kicked by the rest of the field then I'll take it out :-)
