Calling all Thunderkarts (Honda gx390's), all World Formula's, all V-Twin karts, and all karts powered by a single air cooled 4stroke engine!! here is your opportunity to race for the 2010 British Thunder-Kart Champion Title, claim the silverware and take the prize money!

So, with all of the qualification rounds of the inaugural British Thunder Kart Championship complete, and the one off winner takes it all final getting ever closer, the racing is coming to an end, but there is still a champion to be crowned, and anybody could take the title!
If you haven't raced in any of the qualifying rounds to date, then don't worry, you can join the back of the grid, and still have a shot at taking the title! It is open to any kart powered by a single engine, air cooled 4stroke. so things like Thunderkarts(Honda gx390's), World Formula's, V-Twins... all that sort of stuff, they can all race in it!

On January 9th (2011) at Stretton Circuit the final will take place within the regular SCSS meeting.

12 qualifying races have been and gone, producing 5 different race winners, with nobody taking the hat-trick of three point scoring heat wins in one meeting. 8 different people have ventured into the top 3 positions in heat races, and from 4 finals, 3 different winners and 6 different faces on the podium so far . . . along with a handful of ups and downs for drivers throughout the grid, and some unexpected results . . . so although the grid for the big race is decided, the qualification races have proved anything can, and normally does, happen - so it's all still to play for!

So far 12 different people have taken to the track, clocking up approx 2500 racing laps between them, and covering a total racing distance of approx 1250 miles! Drivers have been put through their paces, and had to overcome super fast dry tracks, slippery wet tracks and even icy tracks in their attempt to secure the prime grid position for the final. Up until till now, 12 heats, 4 finals and a lot of racing later, we have seen bumper to bumper battles that have left the leaders separated by less than 0.1 of a second after 25 laps of racing, incidents that have taken the leaders out of contention for race wins . . . and some drivers have failed to keep all 4 wheels on the ground! It's all happened! So when the time comes, and the championship title is up for grabs, who will take the honours? It's almost time for the one off winner takes it all, 2010 British Thunder Kart Championship Final, and it's set to be a good'un!

Drivers will have a practise session, before its lights out in the one off winner takes it all final, when the 2010 British Thunder-Kart Champion WILL be crowned! Sponsorship for the series has been provided, meaning there is a great set of trophies to be won, Prize Money for the top three, and a few special awards and prizes as well!
So, we wish all the competitors the best of luck, keep it clean, fast, and let the best man (or women!) win! And for those of you who will show your support from the sidelines, we hope you enjoy the show.
Thank you for your support so far, and good luck!

Please ask below for more info if you need it, or alternatively, send me an email: thunderkart@live.co.uk

hope to see you in January at Stretton.
