It astounds me that PF continues to attract the grid it does. Facilities aside, it could be the best race series in the UK, however, what remains consistent each year is inconsistency.

Name a year in the recent past that has not had some form of controversy. All this would be fine for arrive and drive hire kart events but what the racers want is surely a credible series, with accepted rules and regulations that are applied fairly and consistently - on and off the circuit??

I don't think it has to be under MSA either, however, the spirit of these regulations should be sufficient together with proper scrutineering (and beyond just engines) that keeps the playing field equal for all. The entry fee is expensive enough to expect that level of "professionalism" surely?
