The more that 18psi is to do with a prokart being heavy, we are running 20kg heavier than most of the Class 1 stuff.

So we struggle when there is massive deformation in the tyre when you run them really soft, which bogs us down as we've only got 11hp!

Basically we're fat with high apex speeds, so require more integrity in the tyre.
