Thanks benbab. We are testing from Thurs on Dunlop SL1, similar compound to YDS. I would still like confirmation from the scrutineer, Kelvin, exactly what is allowed. Howard has made it perfectly clear to me that i cannot use ANY other tyre, apart from what has been issued by him, i have some old YDS to use as a backup, Howard informed me that i cannot use them, i understand that, so ask again if i can buy 2 controlled tyres from any team that has bought 3 sets. Regs are regs so why should this request be so confusing.
