The biggest consideration is to get the release agent off the outer surface but a heat cycle will do them no harm before racing.

Add an additional 5 psi than normal and run for 6-8 laps (the first couple will be aweful with the additional pressure and the stuff on the surface) allow then to cool, re-set the pressures to what you would normally run and you will be off.
