I'm going to be controversial and disagree that all the top chassis are equally quick. Because I think that a new Wright in the correct hands setup well is actually the quickest kart you can BUY... (notice the emphasis on BUY!) But I think you need to know what you are doing to get the best out of it. There are karts that you can't BUY that I think are quicker.

a new 7Kart and new MS in the wrong hands are equally quick to a new Wright in the wrong hands. That's the bit which is important, basically it means if buying new, buy from who is giving the best deal and maybe who is more local to you.

If you're looking for 2nd hand a good Mk2 7Kart can't really be turned down, the way the chassis is manufactured it can be repaired easily if there is a breakage. It's quick, well made and should still have plenty of life left. The MS and Wright aren't so easy to repair should you have a breakage and generally the life span appears to be shorter.
