Trev,

I think MJK is talking about the ones that hold the heat sheild on, I have had mine welded, but take it to someone who knows what they are doing as the heat sheild melts like butter, need a good man to weld it and a welder that works at lower temp!
As for regs i think providing they are closed up they are happy as many people do it because otherwise your constantly putting in oversized bolts
