Anyone who says there is only 2/100 of a second between standard engines and selected parts engines, doesn't have a clue what engines they really have or is yanking your chain.

Before you buy any engines though, an interesting question to ask any engine builder who offers selected parts engines is 'what happens to all the parts, not selected?' I have a sneaking suspicion they may be sold as 'normal' race engines, you could call then unselected parts engines, perhaps a new series should be started for these engines.
