I used to have a prokart engineering engine that was 6.9hp from new It was quick and went well, I took it to Rpm to find on there dyno it only had 5.1.

Its no different to car dynos, I had my race Caterham dynod at 320bhp on one set of rollers and two weeks later on another dyno at 270bhp. I lost 50bhp but the car was the same no slower, hp figures are only any use if consistency can be shown on the same dyno and of course for pub/paddock talk!
