You may have intended it as a question, but you actually simply listed a series of statements.

The statement that 2 stroke motors are about to be banned , has been going around for at least 20 years ..
..It hasnt happened yet, and it is not going to happen.
2 stroke as a combustion cycle is no more polluting that 4 stroke.
You need to separate the TECHNOLOGY from the IMPLIMENTATION, and the choice of FUEL.
Have you ever considered a 2 STROKE , running on Hydrogen FUEL ?
some of the engine designs that use the 2 stroke cycle are very poor, and it is those that will die off, in just the same way that polluting 4 stroke motors will also have to change.
.. always assuming there are a few people out there with open minds .
