I tried blue springs and on standing starts I was left for dead - especially by those on Maxtorque clutches which (I believe) engage at lower revs than a Magnum with white springs!!
I've discovered that the Honda engines pull better from the lower revs and don't need to engage too high. The blues are ok with normal shoes; the purples would definately be outside of the regs. I couldn't (now!!) see any advantage in using them anyway.......
