Don't know and yes. I think the best you will achieve is to make sure the bearings are as wide apart as possible. If this does not create anything then you are kinda stuffed. If it does, however, it is then squeezing them inwards again until you achieve what you are looking for.

The torque setting on the crankcase bolts is fairly low too (can't remember off hand what it is but if you search even the honda manual on google you should get it.
