keep the chains at the right tension.
if u are sprinting u will get a good few meets out of the chains.

Hondas u need to keep on top of the tappett clearences and change the springs every few months although springs should go a lot longer than that, they will just start loosing tension.

Having an engine rebuild once a year will be fine but again not strictly neccessary with hondas depending how old they are.
