Just to be clear, F6 and S1 are VERY different and set out to provide two different types of karting experience.
S1 - National Championships with each round taking up at least a whole weekend with extensive travelling (remember to include preparation time, multiple engines etc).
F6 - South East championship with one day events with only a couple of tracks that require long distance travelling. It also encourages family participation rather than out and out competition and doesnt take up vast amounts of weekend time.
For club based racing like F6 you dont need new tyres every meeting and extensive testing so unless you are not based in the south east the cost of the two championships is not worth comparing especially if you factored a cost for you time spent....as people tend to forget that element.
Best of luck to all in S1 and F6 this year and if you are lucky enough to participate in both, good for you.
