...you are planning to run a normal "sprint" type kart chassis with a "motorbike" engine.
Bad idea !!
Any 125 & bigger gearbox motor will be too fast for a kart with no front brakes and few if any tracks will let you drive it on their property.

Why would you want a kart clutch on a gearbox motor ? ..when they have their own inbuilt clutch !

look thro' the classified ads for a Yamaha FK250...4 stroke "kart motor" ..with a clutch.!
