sounds like a silly question but whats wrong with the current 250 engines. they are a honda cr250, tuned of course.

the other option which i have seen used is the ktm engine...think there are videos on youtube

as for 4 stroke engine....cant think of any...im sure there are plenty tho

have a look at www.bikez.com you can search different makes/cc and pull up all the states eg hp/torque
