I would say it's the same 'double pedaling' that regularly broke the clutch posts off the old rotax clutches. It can be very a useful handeling tool but due to the potential damage to the clutch, user beware! The worst case I saw was a guy blipping the throttle on a rotax during heavey braking but could not work out why he broke 3 clutches in as many sessions! (I was not worried as I had 2 old style spares so proved quite profitable for me paying for a spare new style one) I must point out it was only after he had my second spare I found what he was doing.
