Just unbolt the top of the slider were the cable goes in, then carefully pull out the throttle slider . You will see its got a spring pushing against the top and the slider body, if you compress the spring with your fingers the throttle cable will poke out the bottom and you can unhook it past the hole.
Be carefully when releasing the spring as the plate can fling off now the cable is free.

Use some carb cleaner and jet out all the holes and orifices etc. Remove and clean all the jets , but note how many turns they are in for the adjustable ones.

Awkward to do the first time , but easy after that.
