Gearing of 20/63 would be ok if you are heavy 20/64 is too low but you need to be around 22/67 22/66 for the main back straight where you should be aiming to pull about 5800 rpm going into the right hander. If you are two seconds of the pace then it isnt going to be purely down to engines. Also dont be deceived about being passed coming out of turn two its the slowest corner on the track but the experienced people know how to get a good run out of it. Things to check, make sure you are getting full throttle on both engines and they are balanced. Check nothing is bent on steering and rear axle. What chassis are you on ? if its an MS there are loads of people to help you around three sisters if something else we can probably only help with the basics. New tyres are worth about .2 of a second over a part worn set. Its more a case of how old they are not how worn they are.
