The German company Hatz make small diesels and these have been put onto karts...MakoTrac in Australia run them as part of their hire fleet, and apparently a diesel kart has done well in endurance racing in Germany. Bit of a novelty I think...like the Royal Enfield Bullet diesel motorcycle.
