Thanks very much Graeme,
I was looking at that as a possibility, but it just seemed a bit heath robinson.
You wouldnt be able to offer me any advice on the banging clutch front too would you?
I've never had a clutch driven kart before and never fitted a clutch, so didnt realise that you could have different settings.
I've changed 2 chains and 2 sprockets thinking that the chain had stretched and the sprockets were shot when i heard the banging noise. It never occured to me that it could be the clutch.
I have fitted the clutch outboard, and have read that the magnum clutch is factory set to setting 1 but that is for inboard set up. Would i need to change it to setting 4 to get the same smooth pullaway because in theory the clutch is reverse fitted?
Thankyou in advance
Lee
