Ive seen people use rubber, i gave it ago, but because you cant crank the bolts really tight on a 7kart it doesnt work(something worth taking note of if your a new 7kart owner).
It lasted almost a lap just as i got onto the straight and my engines slid back, its amazing how well rubber slides against new powder coating LOL! It's not nice holding onto your engines for a whole lap.
It's painful also to see your much loved pride and joy gettng paint pulled off, but youre just gonna have to live with it!
