We raced at Stretton2000 on Sunday with a new set of YDs tyres that had been scrubbed in on THursday with about 100 laps. We struggled through qualifying and ended uppa t the back of the grid by the end of heat 2. In the end we put the old tyres on (nearly worn down to the rims!) and immediately was 4/10ths quicker. In fact we got the second fastest time in heat 3 and the final.

Not sure if a bad batch or just the fact new rubber no good in the warm months?? Would be interested in others thoughts.
