The biggest grid at Le Mans in the early nineties was 65 The largest kart grid to the best of my knowledge was the second 24 hours kart race at Silverstone in the late nineties it was if I remember correctly 80 teams. The race was famous for the largest number of drivers to sign up for a RAC licence in one day. Over 400 new licences.
