In 2/ karting it was only used for 125/250 gearbox karting and only on special events, such as Super 4 and the MBKC blue ribband Gold Cup meeting.

Most other 2/ karts would be struggling to meet its sheer rigours, when you look at the length of the aptly named conrod straight, then straight over the hill and cowards summit. I would think that Rotax Max, if geared correctly might be ok, but not sure about others.

If I remember correctly, I think there might have been a few safety issues with regards to run off availability etc, although don`t quoteme on that.
