I think having several scrutineers in rotation is probably quite a good thing as they will all have there own pet tests.

I don't think there is anything wrong with engine builders sharing concerns with officials as they tend to see what their competitors are up to and therefore make them aware.

You can bet there will be a few crankcase covers pulled at WL this weekend and if anything this forum should be used to spread the word on what is being found around the country.
