As long as a piece of string and depends on which dyno, atmospherics on the day etc. Let alone each engine builders opinion.

But if an average out the box degoverned engine is around 6hp, then the best parts selected engine at its optimum might be slightly over 7hp. Doesn't sound much, but we have found that 0.1hp is worth up to about 2/10th on the track (long lap).

Finding that first extra 1hp is easy enough and will cost you about Ł500. The last 0.1 - 0.2 hp is a bit more difficult and depending who you listen to and believe has a going rate of many many thousands.
