Junior TKM 2 stroke offers the 3 weight bands with different restrictors so the bigger kids are still competing on a level playing field and on one grid - plus they have good entries ( and growing ) both at GYG and Hooton in Junior TKM - my eldest is still competitive in Juniors at spot on the 142kg heaviest weight of Driver+ kart -
If you want to be completely put off rotax then just read the nonsense on here about the clutches !! Rotax is not the only answer for you and your son to enjoy karting .
