You can go a long way with standard pistons and new oversize rings, gapped if nessasary. The max oversize piston is probably worth 5% in terms of power, although mostly in the mid range and possibly at the expense of some top end.

Cool Power is good for getting max performance on young engines followed by really good quality synthetic oil to maintain this for as long as possible. But if you want longevity and good performance nothing beats Mobil-1.
