The answer is yes, as the engine will be delivering more power at the engagement speed of purple springs at 3250 (I think) rpm.
HOWEVER, check you race regs. If they are under RATPRO then the MAX engagement speed for the clutch is 2500rpm, making the purple springs illegal.
The blue springs give a slightly higher engagement speed over the whites of 2250, and would be more suitable and legal.
