I will check through the list - I did not change the valve clearances left then exactly as was when the stock gx160 cam was in - now given the lift is the same, just the duration different, I have assumed that this would be ok?? Will check anyway.

Everything was working ok on last run - but like a fool, didn't start the engine before working on it today hence making a little more difficult to pinpoint.

Thanks for you suggestions Brian - will run through each point over the weekend.
